A Short Film About S-21 Prison in Phnom Penh

The following video (6m00 long) takes the viewer to the Khmer Rouge’s notorious S-21 prison in Phnom Penh where, between 1975-79, Pol Pot’s paranoid leadership sent thousands to be tortured and then executed at a killing field outside the capital.

S-21, which was run by convicted war criminal Comrade Duch, is now a well-known stop for tourists visiting the Cambodian capital. Today it is called the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum.
